Hatching approaches?

Hi All,
I wanted to update everyone quickly with a reminder that we expect the first falcon egg to hatch toward the end of this week. Last year the firs egg was laid on March 18th and the first egg hatched on April 23rd...that is our best estimate of a hatch date.

The birds have been so diligent I expect that we can anticipate a successful hatch. Please keep an eye on these birds and remind your friends that hatching is fast approaching.

All the Best,

  4. yes 2 have hatched.. also think i saw 3 chicks being fed from 11:10 to 11:30ish.. there is also another egg shell in the nest.. mom or dad have been nibbleing on the egg shells..very hard to see the chicks when being fed.. as the parents always are blocking the web cams..

  10. Falcon chicks were banded today, must have been exciting, as the chicks and mom or dad are staying very close to the chicks..and the web cam looking in from the front has been moved off center of the nest box
